Keynote seminar by Roland Kahn, founder of Cool Cat
Roland Kahn founded Cool Cat in 1979. After the acquisition of different other retail companies he is now running about 190 Cool Cat, Wonder Women and America Today stores in five different countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, France and Dubai. On Thursday the 20th of May he will talk about the attractiveness of the Belgian real estate market to international retailers.

No crisis in the Brussels office market
For the third subsequent year, the Planning Department of the AATL (Administration de l’Aménagement du Territoire et du Logement) and the Inventimmo Service of the BRDA (Brussels Regional Development Agency) combined their expertise and tools to forge a reliable statistical view on the stock of offices in the Brussels Capital Region. These efforts resulted in a new edition of the Review of Office Property, in which the vacancy in office buildings in the various districts of the Brussels Capital Region is described, clarified and quantified.

Real Estate at K.U.Leuven
Since 1995, K.U.Leuven has been organizing Postgraduate Real Estate Management Studies and many short courses, symposia and alumni programmes on real estate topics every year. Recently, the Professional Real Estate Meetings were launched, where learning networks (max. 20 persons, 5 sessions) discuss predetermined topics. In each session an expert guides the questioning, the discussions and the exchange of experience. After the first topic “Green buildings” we focus on “Health and Senior care”. This topic starts on May 11, 2010 in Leuven and on September 27, 2010 in Kortrijk.
